Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five in addition to the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold in both team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded by her balance bar. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to earn the most medals in the Olympics. The gold medal she won at the Olympics in 2016 marked the second gold in a row for the US team. She was, together with her teammate Gabby - the first Americans to accomplish this achievement. She also won silver medals in the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Her gold medal winning American team also took home the two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly gives to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be out this year.
