NF
Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30 1991 is an American musician and rapper. He is also known by his initials, NF which is spelled as in the form of IF. Two EPs were issued by the artist I'm free (2012) [3and an EP that was self-titled in 2014. He signed with Capitol CMG. His first major-label album, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. The album that he followed with Therapy Session was released on April 22 on the 22nd of April, 2016. It peaked at the number 12 in the US Billboard 200. His albums have received many distinctions, such as the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception reached the top spot in the United States in 2017, and its third single, "Let You down" made it to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the US and was also a top 10 worldwide chart hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. He enjoyed similar commercial success. Feuerstein stated that rap was an escape from his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs with an karaoke machine. He recorded instrumentals as well as raps on one microphone. Feuerstein independently released Moments the album that was the first of his studio album, on November 29, 2010. On August 2, 2011 the singer released his debut single "Alone". Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's composers and producers. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work in 2012. His debut extended play I'm Free was released on May 2nd 2012 by Feuerstein and the production help of Profitt. The tracklist featured nine tracks that included "Alone". The album featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds, the singer of "Alone". Xist revealed that NF was coming out however Feuerstein quit the label over an argument. NF production was postponed. However, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, from the compilation album released by the label Move Vol 1. He released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", November 4, 2013. The track again featured an appearance from Profitt along with the voices of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
