 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998), better known as MrBeast in the United States is an American YouTube star. He is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and entrepreneur. He is well-known for making YouTube videos that focus on extravagant stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began posting videos to YouTube in the early months of 2012 at the age of 13, under the handle "MrBeast6000" and his initial content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have." He went viral in 2017 following his "counting up to 100,000" video earned hundreds of thousands of views in just a couple of days. He has grown in popularity ever since, with the majority of his videos receiving tens of millions of views.Over time his style of content diversified to include challenge and donation videos that pay millions of dollars, videos with difficult tasks or challenges to survive and original video vlogs. Donaldson has hired a lot of his childhood pals as assistants to manage his expanding channel. As of 2022 the MrBeast team was comprised of 60 people.Donaldson's primary YouTube channel, which had 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022, is called "MrBeast".
